National Charitable Trust (NCT) was established in 2010 with a vision to improve the lives of persons with special needs by providing quality education, rehabilitation, therapy, and opportunities for an independent and dignified life. The Trust was founded by Mrs. Vasuki Vijayakrishnan, an Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist (ASLP) and the first qualified ASLP in Salem district. With years of clinical expertise and a deep commitment to serving children and adults with disabilities, she envisioned creating a state-of-the-art rehabilitation centre where every individual could receive comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care under one roof. Guided by this vision, National Charitable Trust has grown into a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through early intervention, special education, speech and language therapy, audiology services, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, vocational training, and family support services. We firmly believe that every individual, irrespective of their disability, has unique abilities and the right to learn, grow, communicate, and participate meaningfully in society. Our team works closely with families, professionals, volunteers, and partner organizations to create an inclusive environment where every child and adult is encouraged to achieve their fullest potential.
